Life in Colour at The Glasgow Gallery brings together four acclaimed Scottish artists – Emma S Davis, Victoria Wylie, Rosanne Barr and Jane Hunter – who offer their own distinctive responses to life and the world around us.

The exhibition showcases the artists’ energy and sense of colour with a delicately-balanced sense of abstraction, and highlights the beauty, atmosphere and vibrancy of the vast world we live in, and the attachment we feel to places and memories.

Through, expressive, colourful brushwork, simplified forms and textured surfaces, the work offers alternative and evocative interpretations of the landscape, the artists expressing connection and respect for the natural world.

The Gallery supports the Own Art finance scheme, which makes purchasing artworks more affordable through payment by instalments.
