Edinburgh Printmakers: Print Club @ Home

Edinburgh Printmakers

Online

Edinburgh Printmakers is looking back on a year since re-opening at its newly-refurbished building at Castle Mills, Edinburgh. Artmag reviewed the opening event. The enterprise was delighted to learn that its building had won the Project of the Year at the inaugural Royal Institution for Chartered Surveyors’ Social Impact Awards.

While the country faces lockdown, the organisation has launched a new series of fortnightly videos called Print Club @ Home, in a bid to reach out to followers of all ages showing fun projects that can be done at home. All of the methods featured in the videos can be done with items from around the house and are aimed at everyone no matter what their experience level. Younger printmakers should ask for the help of an adult though wherever sharper tools are involved. The videos can be accessed on its pages on Youtube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, and they are inviting viewers to share their results, using the hashtag #EPprintclub, when posting on any social media platform.
