An exhibition of artworks by David AthertonDrawing Aside the Journey will be the first exhibition at Dunoon Burgh Hall Gallery since lockdown. Using a broad range of media – from pencil to paint and printmaking to mixed-media – the show encompasses twenty years of everyday life, showing things that have impressed, inspired or involved the artist. The work includes landscape, portrait, social comment and industrial heritage, among other themes, all inviting the viewer to travel in tandem with the artist to observe our ever-changing world.
