The Brunton in Musselburgh has two special screenings of performance films. Northern Ballet’s Dangerous Liaisons tells a scandalous tale set to Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons. The story first appeared as a 1782 French novel, was adapted for the stage in 1985 and made into a film in 1988. Also showing is the National Theatre’s Romeo and Juliet, the enduring story of star-crossed lovers, on 28th Sept.
