The self-proclaimed “original Harray Potter” (it’s a place in Orkney), Andrew Appleby is an expert in the prehistoric pottery of the
islands and his vessels are often based on originals. He has some Neolithic ovens in his studio, keeping ancient craft traditions
alive.
