March 2015 – Spectrawax Lighting

Ken Parsons of Borers-based Spectrawax Lighting makes limited edition Tiffany-style lamps and lampshades using a wax and resin laminate he invented himself which has a virtually indefinite life span. Lit by low longlasting fluorescents which use about 80 per cent less energy than conventional bulbs, these ‘antiques of the future’ glow with an abstract, kaleidoscopic aura.
