A call for entries has gone out for a large public exhibition set to take place in central Paisley in Autumn 2022, with a deadline of 31st May. The Big Art Show, Paisley is open to all who consider themselves artists, and whose work could be suitable for exhibition. Artwork is welcome in any medium, such as drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed-media, digital art, film, video, photography, performance, or live art. Extending over several floors of a former department store in the town centre, the space will be large, open-plan and white-walled; most artworks are expected to be for sale. Hand-in of work will be week beginning 25th July, and the exhibition opens Friday 26th August. Details are available on the Show’s website.
The project is organised under the auspices of Outspoken Arts Scotland and a volunteer team of professional visual artists working in west of Scotland – a non-profit-making charitable initiative working for the advancement of art, education and public benefit.
