The Doorway Gallery Dublin is continuing its Getting to Know series, featuring a particular artist with weekly online content, Q&A’s and videos on its social media pages. Painter Karen Lightfoot is this week’s incumbent, with others to follow in the weeks leading up to 12th May, including Lucy Doyle, Sergey Talichkin, Sheryl Roberts and Roisin O’Farrell. Alongside the series, the Gallery shows an enormous variety of top-quality artwork on its website for viewing and purchase. This is made easy by the Gallery’s app, which allows you to visualise artworks in situ such as in your living room or any setting you choose. The Gallery also operates a #trybeforeyoubuy scheme, and for those local to the Dublin area, an appointment scheme is in operation.
