Kilmorack Gallery in Beauly, Inverness-shire, is showcasing Colin Brown‘s latest work. Inspired by the work of Belgian botanical painter Pierre-Joseph Redouté, In Bloom is a series showing the artist’s take on essentials of the botanical world – blooms, roots and buds – and adding his own twist, creating a unique and uplifting recalling humanity’s ‘unconscious reflection of our deepening need for reconnection with Nature.’ A catalogue is available on request to the gallery.
