Class act from capital students

FEAST 2012 at Edinburgh’s Jewel & Esk College

Students are taking the lead in a celebration of Scotland’s food and drink, using the skills they are learning at college. Scotland’s leading chefs including John Paul, Tony Borthwick and Neil Forbes, will be at FEAST 2012 at Edinburgh’s Jewel & Esk College on 28 April. They will take part in live demonstrations at the event which calls on the skill of the tourism, hospitality and events management students at Jewel & Esk and Queen Margaret University. As well as the demonstrations, there will be tutor-led taste testing sessions showcasing some of Scotland’s wonderful drinks; imaginative regional menus to sample and a guest appearance from Yogesh Utekar, one of India’s most talented chefs. It runs from 10am to 4pm and tickets are £12/£5
