Citizens Theatre I Bold Girls

119 Gorbals Street,
Glasgow

Previews: Wed 24, Thu 25 & Fri 26

Citizens Theatre is bringing back Bold Girls by Rona Munfro, first performed in 1991 and confirmed the arrival of a major new voice in Scottish theatre.

Packed with abrasive humour, Bold Girls is a story of love, friendship and betrayal, rooted in the working class culture of Belfast. An award-winning play about the everyday lives of four Belfast women, set against the backdrop of the Troubles, its revival comes at a moment when the future of Northern Ireland and gender politics are once again in the headlines.
