Bold Girls is the newest and absolute must-see production at the Citizens Theatre in Glasgow. Set in Belfast in the early 1990s is a perfect story with a brilliant all female cast. It tells the story of four women whose lives are shown in a very real and easily relatable way, as the play goes on, the audience finds out more and more about their troubles, worries and dreams. Packed with humour it is truly a story of friendship, love and betrayal, all presented in the backdrop of working class culture of Belfast.

It was truly refreshing to see so much talent in one room, the cast of the show is perfect. Deirdre Davis (Nora), Scralett Mack (Cassie), Lucianne McEvoy (Marie) and Sinéad Sharkey (Deirdre) are all fabulous in their roles and it is impossible not to get wholly immersed in their stories and struggles. The actors create an atmosphere of great fun but also make sure that the seriousness of their struggles isn’t missed.
