Citizens Theatre at Tramway: Nora: A Doll’s House

Citizens Theatre at Tramway: Nora: A Doll’s House

‘Nora: A Doll’s House features the perfect wife and mother. But when a secret from her past comes back to haunt her, her life rapidly unravels and she must fight to protect herself and her family or risk losing everything. First performed in 1879, this new production of Ibsen’s brutal portrayal of womanhood reframes the drama in three different time periods: the fight for women’s suffrage, the swinging ‘60s and the modern day.

Nora: A Doll’s House will be presented at Tramway whilst the Citizens Theatre building undergoes an exciting redevelopment.
