The Aberdeen Malmaison’s new chef, Stuart Thomson, will be launching his first original menu soon. Having only joined the hotel in December from Harvey Nichols in Manchester, Stuart will be hosting a series of dinners in February to showcase his new menu.
Stuart has many prestigious kitchens under his belt, including the Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh and Cameron House on Loch Lomond. After three years as head chef at Harvey Nichols, Stuart felt it was time for a different kind of challenge: Malmaison Aberdeen. “The group food ethos and enthusiasm to embrace truly local produce was a huge drawing card,” Stuart said.
