Gallery Heinzel in Aberdeen is staging a curated autumn exhibition, Changing Seasons, reflecting on nature, transition, and the shifting beauty of the year. Showcasing the work of established and emerging artists, it explores themes of light, colour colour, and transformation, capturing the essence of nature as it shifts throughout the year, highlighting the richness and diversity of Scottish and British art today.

Changing Seasons brings together leading contemporary artists such as Kittie Jones – a Scottish Artist celebrated for her bold, expressive works on paper that explore the vitality of the natural world. Working mostly employing drawing and mixed media, she takes inspiration from Scotland’s coasts and landscapes, translating fleeting encounters with birds and wildlife into striking, gestural images. Her work balances spontaneity with structure, offering a vivid celebration of the energy and movement found in the natural environment
