In her first solo exhibition at Kilmorack Gallery near Beauly in the Black Isle Carina Prigmore‘s Touched by Nature is named after the importance that unspoilt places play in the artist’s life and art, her paintings inspired by the stillness and quiet around her studio in the Cairngorms. She says, ‘Being in nature has always been essential to me. Like so many of us, during this last year I have found it even more important to spend time in the natural world. Nature is healing, calming and can often help us find new perspectives in life. Spending time observing nature helps me connect with and really understand the landscape I paint.’
Also showing: four new works by Ann Oram from 16th July, and four new pieces by Liz Knox, from 19th July.
