There is a new category in the Wildlife Artist of the Year competition for 2018! Organised by The David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation which was founded in 1984 by wildlife artist and conservationist, David Shepherd CBE, the event boasts a new category , entitled ‘Earth’s Wild Beauty’ reflects the conservation projects that the charity funds across Africa and Asia encompassing both the wildlife and the landscapes which they inhabit. From grass-roots to world stage, DSWF works with local communities to understand and protect vital wildlife populations whilst fighting for changes to the laws that protect wildlife from the indiscriminate and illegal global trade.
Entry is open to all artists 17 years of age and over.
Prizes: First prize £10,000, second prize £1,000 +6 category winners receiving £500 each.
