Edinburgh-based jeweller Bryony Knox is among 150 or more craftspeople to exhibit at Goldsmith’s Fair 2021 in London’s Goldsmiths’ Hall. The exhibition is a major event in the UK’s jewellers’ and silversmiths’ calendar, offering a chance to meet the makers, browse and purchase their creations, and learn more about their exacting craft.
At her stand, no. 44, Bryony will be unveiling her latest collection of boxes and brooches, inspired by Scottish tales of herring and other fish, known as ‘Silver Darlings’. Each piece incorporates elements that have had a previous life, such as a box lid incorporating the fluted edges of an antique silver salver, swinging open to reveal a 1750’s Chinese mother-of-pearl fish gaming chip at its base.
