Alexander Millar Fine Art has relocated to bigger premises in Glasgow’s Princes Square, where the gallery has 200 square metres of exhibition space and a frontage onto Buchanan Street. The new space will enable the artist to display larger originals and rare, signed, limited edition prints from his extensive archive. Millar is known for series such as his Peaky Blinders gangsters, Fairway to Heaven golfing characters and Gadgies, depicting Tyneside working life. Although closely associated with northeast England, Millar was born in Ayrshire, and the gallery also shows oil paintings and prints of the Scottish landscape.
