The Chip is all about the Bard this month as its main restaurant offers up a cup o’ kindness on Burns night with a vibrant 4 courser which includes their signature venison haggis, champit tatties, carrot crisp and turnip cream alongside Barra scallops, pot roast ox cheek, Hebridean Carrageen snow egg plus a wee bit of black bun. Phew.
The night will be hosted by award winning Gaelic singer Maeve Mackinnon and Mike Farrel from upbeat Pipe-rockers Rollin’ Drones. It’s rounded off with a rousing ceilidh on the famous cobbled forecourt in the company of high energy dance maestros Cask Strength. Eat, dance and sing till all the seas gang dry.
