Scottish Opera’s ground breaking work for children aged 6 to 18 months comes to Glasgow this autumn following its sell out run at the Edinburgh Festival.
The magical venture, which creates an operatic language for kids while their minds are open to new sounds and exploration, is a perfect mini opera written by Lliam Paterson and directed by Phelim McDermott. Rousing haunting melodies are woven with expressive characters and colourful costumes, capturing the drama and passion of opera, while encouraging the toddlers meander around hitting tiny pianos and snuggling up to the magnificent singers.
