Borders-based artist Moy Mackay has developed an innovative coupling of a traditional craft with a fine art application. Working with Merino fleece fibres in the same way that a painter uses brushstrokes, she creates ‘felt paintings’ of great warmth and texture. You can find them at her self-titled gallery in Peebles. Moy has also produced three calendars in different sizes – slimline large A3 and compact A4 – featuring her work.
