At the 11th annual Aberdeen Art Fair at the Aberdeen Music Hall, there is a superb selection of contemporary art to view and buy for every taste and budget. Carrying an ethos of arts for all, prices begin at £50.

This year an expanded range of art galleries and professional creatives from across Scotland and the UK will be exhibiting, displaying paintings, sculpture, prints, photography, art glass and hand-made designer furniture. Many of them are exhibiting here for the first time, and it’s a great opportunity to meet the artists face to face, and you can expect to see works by household names, celebrity artists, established local artists and new and emerging creatives from across the country.

Entry is by voluntary donation – the amount is up to the visitor, which the organisers say helps ensure that the Fair continues to be the North East’s most popular contemporary art event. There’s a café and bar, complimentary wrapping service with all purchases so pieces can be taken away on the day, and there will be live painting and print demonstrations over the weekend.
