Edinburgh’s Art & Craft Collective has a number of spring exhibitions and accompanying events from 13th April, with Hunkersliding, an exhibition of paintings by Borders artist Karen Monaghan, and Nature’s Light, an exhibition of photographs by Peter Valente. Karen and Peter will be in the gallery on 13th April at 2:30 pm to discuss their inspiration and process. 

A four-week oil painting course, running on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings with painter and Collective member Craigo will start on 13th April, while a new two-hour Introduction to Calligraphy workshop by Ceri from Panda Scribes begins Weds 1st May 2pm (and Sat 10am).

The Collective’s first literary event sees G Maria Bencich-Grigore marking the publication of her first book Ad Kalendas Graecas with a reading and signing on 2nd May, with refreshments served.
