Showing at Edinburgh’s Art & Craft Collective is a new exhibition of James Carter’s photographs, James Carter: A Walk into Town, all of which were taken on walks from the artist’s home in the Prestonfield area of Edinburgh, sometimes over Arthur’s Seat, across The Meadows, sometimes to Figgate Park or Portobello. The images are responses to the changing light and moods of Edinburgh, capturing abstract shapes and patterns, enigmatic traces left by people, plants, animals and layers of texture which create visual puzzles.

While the exhibition opens on 12th Nov, an event is planned on the 19th, with James attending.
