Presented in partnership with Glasgow’s Street Level Photoworks, Edinburgh-based artist Arpita Shah’s new exhibition at Duff House in Banff, Aberdeenshire, explores the connected histories of her maternal lineage, spanning India, East Africa and the UK, and how migration, distance and loss have shaped their lives. It features discoveries of old forgotten family photographs, and shared and individual memories of objects, places, and family stories. Entry to the exhibition is included in admission to the beautiful and fascinating Duff House, designed by William Adam in 1735. (Selected dates until 14th July).
