The High St. Gallery in Kirkcudbright has a large collection of Georgian to mid-century retro art glass, pottery from the Arts & Crafts, Art Nouveau, Art Deco and mid-century periods, and new paintings by James Macaulay, Hazel Campbell, Davy Brown and Peter Quinn, whose work is pictured above.

The gallery, which doubled as May Morrison’s Sweetie Shop in the cult film The Wickerman, has seen an increase of visitors in the movie’s 50th anniversary year.
