Alison Kinnaird MBE works in a wide range of engraved glass art, from small intimate pieces to larger architectural projects, combining the ancient technique of wheel engraving with the cutting edge technology of LED lighting, to introduce light and colour to the images. Her home and workplace are in the historic setting of Shillinghill Studios – a converted church dating from 1832, in the historic village of Temple in Midlothian, once the headquarters of the Knights Templar in Scotland in the 14th century. Following her summer open exhibition, she continues to welcome visitors by appointment.

Alison’s website features images of her work and a video about the summer exhibition can be seen on her Facebook page.
