A Winter’s Glow at the White Fox Gallery in Coldstream includes jewellery for men and women, ceramic vessels and sculptures, glass works, silver and copper sculptures and bowls, hand-painted silk scarves, photographs, paintings and prints. It has been a good year for some of the gallery’s painters: John McClenaghen has featured in twelve exhibitions, including at the Heriot Gallery in Edinburgh and the Russell Gallery in London, Sheila Anderson Hardy recently become a member of the Society of Scottish Botanical Artists and has had two of her paintings pre-selected for the RSW Open Exhibition in December and Gill Walton, whose work is pictured, was awarded professional membership of the Society of Scottish Artists. During a residency at Marchmont House in the Borders she developed a beautiful series of prints entitled Breath, one of which was purchased by the Duke of Buccleuch, and she also won the 2021 Scottish Drawing Prize from the Paisley Art Institute.
