Edinburgh’s Arusha Gallery‘s new exhibition is by Fiona Finnegan. Born in 1979, Fiona graduated with an MFA distinction from Ulster University in 2009; she currently lives and works in Belfast. Her work explores the territory of the uncanny, folklore and para possibilities. She received a BA Hons in Music and Visual Practice in 2001 at the University of Brighton, and has participated in several exhibitions across the UK and Ireland. In 2011 she was selected for The Threadneedle Prize Exhibition in London’s Mall Galleries, London. Her paintings are included in the public collections of the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and the University of Ulster, Belfast.
The exhibition is showing alongside the mixed-media, drawing and lithographic printmaking of Lara Orman.
