Will Maclean: Points of Departure at Edinburgh’s City Art Centre showcases one of Scotland’s most distinguished artists: Will Maclean’s work draws on the history, archaeology and mythology of the Highlands. Best known for his wall constructions, he is equally at home in sculpture, drawing, painting and installation, all of which feature in this major retrospective of work from the past five decades. Maclean’s work connects with both craftsmanship and poetry, infused with memories and personal associations, while the sea, with its rich store of stories and symbols, is never far away. Admission is £6.50/£4.50.
