Mads Holm is the winner of the 2016 Jill Todd Photographic Award. Her work is on show at Stills Centre for Photography in Edinburgh alongside images by fellow finalists Linda Conroy and Emma Levy and six highly commended entrants, all graduates of schools and colleges in Scotland and Ireland. Each finalist selected their own theme, with Holm exploring tension and discord in the urban environment. Now in its fifth year, the award is named after Jill Todd, a 2009 first class honours graduate in Photography and Film from Edinburgh Napier University, who died in 2010 from a cancer-related illness.
