The E.D.S. Gallery in Edinburgh represents a wide selection of practising fine artists from across the UK. Many of them are brand new to the Edinburgh scene, while others are well known local names.
At Gracefield Arts Centre in Dumfries it’s all about ceramics, with a major touring exhibition, Containing Time (Gallery 2) by Jane Perryman, and From Clay for Christmas in the Craft Shop, featuring practical and decorative pottery from invited UK makers. Last but not least, William Neal with One More Time is also showing in Gallery 1.
Visible Layers is an exhibition of collage, featuring carefully selected artists who explore the endless possibilities of the medium.

Entertaining from beginning to end, this two-man show is a great chance to experience some Christmas magic. It’s funny, clever and very engaging.
Written by playwright Suhayla El-Bushra and directed by Joe Douglas, The Arabian Nights makes for an incredible show. Lyceum Theatre provides the perfect venue for it, with its atmospheric décor and intimate size.
